Every year, elections are made possible thanks to poll workers, and this year’s November 3 election is expected to see a record-breaking turnout. Now more than ever, Georgia counties are in need of poll workers who are comfortable giving back to the community (while getting paid!) during this time.
We’re calling on Atlanta’s food & beverage industry to help “Staff the Polls 2020.” Businesses can help by taking our pledge and agreeing to give their employees paid time off to vote and when working the polls during early voting (October 12-30, 2020) and/or on November 3, 2020 and during training.
Food & beverage workers can help by applying to become poll workers. All poll worker positions are also paid by the county, and it’s a great way to experience a fundamental part of the voting process.
